TOURNAMENT FORMATS FOR PLAY
THURSDAY
TWO MAN BEST BALL
This is a contest where you count the best ball of your two man team.
ALL PUTTS MUST BE HOLED OUT. FOR PACE OF PLAY, ALL PLAYERS MAY PICK UP AFTER NET TRIPLE.
FRIDAY
STAMPEDE STYLE DEFENDER BEST BALL
This is a contest where you count your team’s net best ball score on each hole and combine it with the member’s net score on the EVEN holes and the guest’s net score on the ODD holes.
ALL PUTTS MUST BE HOLED OUT. FOR PACE OF PLAY, ALL PLAYERS MAY PICK UP AFTER NET TRIPLE.
SATURDAY
STAMPEDE-STYLE BEST BALL
(Low net plus total net strokes)
Each player will play their own ball all the way to the hole and record their own gross and net scores. The two net scores will be added together and then the lowest net will be added in again.
Example: If one player has a net 4 on the hole and his partner has a net of 6, then their total combined net total strokes would be 10. You would then add the lower net score to the total net and the score for the hole would be 14. In other words, the low net score counts twice and the high net score counts once
ALL PUTTS MUST BE HOLED OUT. FOR PACE OF PLAY, ALL PLAYERS MAY PICK UP AFTER NET TRIPLE.
